Background: Emmanuel is a graduate of HEC Paris where he specialized in Finance and is a CFA holder. His recent responsibilities include managing a high-yield bond portfolio and a mezzanine debt portfolio at CDP Capital, Canada’s largest pension fund. He also spearheaded competitive intelligence efforts for Desjardins Group, a leading Canadian financial institution. His highly extensive research has addressed issues related to credit default swaps, financial institutions’ capital management strategies, and relationships between banks’ treasury departments, corporate finance divisions, and investment banking units.
